Hi, I’m Jon Kiper.

Small business owner and Candidate for governor

For ten years, I ran a small restaurant called Jonny Boston’s International. Located in Newmarket, New Hampshire, I learned how the economy worked from the ground level.

In 2024, frustrated by a political system that seemed hell-bent on making my life difficult, I ran for governor of New Hampshire. I didn’t win, but I received nearly 10% of the vote, having spent only a fraction of what my opponents spent.

In 2025, I decided to run for governor for a second time. But this time, I wanted to write a book to help illustrate my frustrations with our economy. So for several months in 2025 and the beginning of 2026, I wrote Community First Economics: A Guide to Renewal in the Granite State.

This book outlines how Trickle-down Economics has led to massive inequality in the United States and New Hampshire — and what we can do about it!
